Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of my favorite healthy cookie recipes.

Whole wheat cookie recipes can often taste like sawdust. Not these. These whole wheat chocolate chip cookies get their rich taste from Ghirardelli chocolate chips.

I always say using better-quality ingredients makes better-tasting food. And that's even more true when you're trying to make healthy cookies.

In this healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe, I use all whole grain flours and real butter, but I limit the amount of sugar and use gourmet dark chocolate chips. The result is a healthy cookie recipe that's full of flavor.

I recommend dark Ghirardelli chocolate chips (60% cacao), because they're richer-tasting and bigger chips, so you get more chocolate taste with fewer chips.
